Individual Examples

Tanya the Teacher

Tanya is a 29-year-old schoolteacher. Her Atlas Direct premium would be $160 per month in most states.

Henry the Coach

Henry is a 49-year-old football coach. His Atlas Direct premium would be $175 per month in most states.

Candice the Captain

Candice is a 58-year-old police captain. Her Atlas Direct premium would be $285 per month in most states.

Family Examples

Jackie and John

Jackie and John are a married couple in their late 30s who have two teenagers named Jennifer and Jasper. Their Atlas Direct premium would be $445 per month in most states (= $205 for Jackie + $120 for John + $60 for Jennifer + $60 for Jasper).

Karla and Kids

Karla is a 36-year-old single mom raising three boys named Kenneth, Kingston, and Kyle who are all in elementary school. Her monthly premium for Atlas Direct coverage for herself and her three kids would be $385 per month in most states (= $205 for herself + $60 for Kenneth + $60 for Kingston + $60 for Kyle).

Employer Examples

Joe’s Pizza

Joe’s Pizza has 27 employees, ranging in age from 16 to 58 years old. The cost for Joe, the owner, to purchase Atlas Direct for those 27 employees is simply the sum of their respective individual Atlas Direct premium amounts.

Up High Roofing Supply

The Up High Roofing Supply company is interested in offering Atlas Direct as a benefit that its employees could pay for themselves. The employees’ monthly premiums would exactly equal the Atlas Direct premiums that they would pay if they enrolled in Atlas Direct by themselves, independently of their employer.

The insurance policy advertised on this website offers limited health benefit coverage and is a supplement to, rather than a replacement for, comprehensive major medical insurance coverage. It is designed to provide benefits at preselected, fixed dollar amounts for covered diagnoses. The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 2026 revised the rules governing health savings accounts (HSAs) in ways that allow them to be used to pay for direct primary care (DPC) monthly membership fees. The new rules still impose important limitations on the use of HSA funds and require regulations or guidance to be issued in the future. The premiums paid for the Atlas Direct insurance program do not qualify as an eligible HSA expense.
